The Inyo Line is modeled in both HO and HOn3 and depicts life and the
western railroad scene in the first half of the 20th century. Based on the
Southern Pacific Narrow Gauge line that ran from Laws to Keeler in eastern
California, the I&WMRR veered a bit off history to include development by
the SP and the Santa Fe. The area prospered and other roads such as the
Virginia & Truckee, Western Pacific, and D&RGW are often seen interchanging.

CSX GP38-2, 2508 is spotting a stock car at the Neil Pastoral Company
stock unloading yard in Claireville during a time table operating
session. The scene is on my HO Scale model railroad "Martindale Creek"
The layout is fully
operational. Freight car routing is controlled by a card system.
Timetable operation sessions use a twelve to one fast clock. Scenery
construction is my next task.
