Website Description: The Georgetown Branch of the B&O RR ran from Georgetown Jct. near Silver Spring through Chevy Chase & Bethesda MD, on into Washington, DC where it terminated in Georgetown. The line was started in the late 1800's and completed in 1910. It was abandoned in 1985. I am modeling the GB as it appeared in the late 1940's.
